Talampas is an experimental typeface whose stature emerged from landforms, particularly the flat highlands called talampas or plateau characterized by a steep slope rising sharply above the surrounding area.

The font works by rotating through a series of fitting rhombus and parallelogram-shaped glyphs using contextual alternates.
